Islamic Arts Society joined hands with the Museum of fine arts Houston to bring a wonderful family oriented program at the museum’s Cullen sculpture garden. The program was well attended and liked by grown-ups as well as children.
Our artists demonstrated Calligraphy, Ebru, Ceramic tile making skills as well as geometric art patterns. The Islamic arts society was represented by Calligrapher Syed Fakhri, Geometric Artist Miriam Mehjazi, Ebru Artist Nihal Sonmez, and ceramic tile artist Morad Jasim.
The program was held on March 13th, 1-4 PM at the Cullen Sculpture Garden. 1001 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77005.
