IAS Henna artist Gohar Anjum Iqbal held a henna art workshop for teenagers during the summer library program at R. B. Tullis Library, Hwy 59 N, New Caney, last week. The program was well attended by teenagers from the local area who learned about henna as a form of Islamic Art. This is how the Islamic Arts Society is taking Islamic arts to young people in the heart of Texas.
