Islamic Arts Society took part in the Bellaire Eid Festival at Zindler park on 14 May The festival attracted a large number of attendees. People from all walks of life, ages and denominations enjoyed the festivities. The festival was held to mark the end of Ramadan which is the month of fasting for the Muslims.
There were fun activities for children and adults and the Islamic arts society artist Monther Yousuf provided free calligraphy to visitors. Preacher Moss of the “Allah made me funny” fame was the MC for the event. Katharine Gratwick and Mona Sharique coordinated this wonderful event.
