OUR MISSION

Islamic Arts Society aims to share the rich heritage of Islamic Arts. The society organizes events to celebrate our culture and promote the positive image of the Muslim community amongst the community at large.

Art is a common language and binds diverse communities.

By promoting Islamic arts, we hope to promote mutual understanding and to bring the broader American community together.

Islamic Arts Festival

The 11th annual Islamic Arts Festival was held on November 9 &10 at the University of Houston.

In addition to the usual two-day visual art display, this year’s event also featured a film festival, a spoken arts program, an academic seminar, a comedy show, and a Sufi music program.

Our Festival is the Largest & Oldest Festival of Islamic Arts in America and attracts visitors and artists from all across the USA
